Vincent Valeri & Associates is an In 3 Generations Peer Group Affiliate.
From a succesful family? We've got a peer group for you.
This virtual peer group is for people age 20+ in affluent families who want to improve strategy to maximize the opportunities, and minimize the challenges associated with the stewardship of family wealth and/or family business responsibilities.
When you're a part of the Collective, you make no formal commitment to attend our quarterly Collective calls - we offer invitation and some detail about the topic we will be discussing, and whoever is available and interested shows up!
As such, we are never totally sure how many people will attend any given session, but we typically have double digit attendance at these calls and whenever possible we split into smaller facilitated breakout groups for more time to connect with one another and apply the topic for the call to our own lives.
Our groups are led by people who, like you, are from successful families, so they understand the unique complexities of wealth...AND importantly, they are all trained coaches as well.Although we do teach some tools and frameworks that go along with the theme for each session, we like to think of ourselves as coaches or facilitators, rather than instructors, - our groups feel much more like a book club than a calculus class. You can learn more about our coaches on the About page of our website.
We have several more formal peer group programs for people in the Rising Generation that DO require payment, but the Collective is more informal, meeting only quarterly with a messaging platform, so it doesn't require too much time from our team. That said, the impact is substantial!
Being in a successful family can be surprisingly isolating, so it's our goal to remove as many barriers as possible for people to have the opportunity to gather together with others in the same situation and receive support and connection from one another. The Collective is attended both by alumni of our other programs, as well as those who have not yet attended one of our other programs, but have found us through their advisors or perhaps on the internet.
Our calls are typically held during the day on a weekday for 90-minutes. We have found that this is the time of greatest availability for our participants and given that we only meet quarterly, people seem to be able to make it work amidst other responsibilities. Each call has a theme and we source these ideas based on the interest of Collective participants. Past topics have included topics such as:- Approaches to effective family decision-making- Guest speaker on carrying out the role of executor upon a parent's recent death- Book club or podcast chat where we listen/read a resource and come ready to discuss- Philanthropy- Effective approaches to stewardship
Let's discuss this on a call together!Regarding inviting spouses and siblings, we ask you to consider, before you share the invitation, if you'd benefit more from taking in this learning and connection on your own, or if perhaps you'd most benefit from integrating this learning alongside your family members. There's no right answer - but you're wise to explore what's best for you at this time.
By registering for access, you are making no commitment of attendance to any or all of the Collective meetings, but we hope that you can join them as this is the cornerstone of our community. Due to the conversational and private nature of the calls, we typically do not record the sessions. Also, our calls are not designed like webinars where you just listen in to one directional content sharing and easily multitask - these sessions are meant for participants to be focused, with camera on, ready to learn and interact with peers.
You're next steps to gain access to the Collective are as follows:- Complete the interest form on this page.- We will reach out to schedule a Zoom call to meet so we can answer any questions you may have - also we are careful to screen new participants entering so that the group stays safe given the private nature of the topics we discuss.- Then we will help you to get registered and you'll have access to our online messaging platform and all the details about our upcoming meetings.
ABSOLUTELY - The sandwich generation experience can be a real squeeze! The content shared in the Collective will definitely apply to your situation as a Middle Gen family member. If we have the chance to connect with you for a call, we can discuss whether it may also be beneficial for you to join our group for Leading Generation family members or perhaps to invite anyone from the generation below you to the Collective as well.
