Rising Gen Cohort FAQs

Got questions? We’ve got answers.

How many people will be in the group?

We curate groups of 8-15 people. During each virtual call we split into smaller breakouts so everyone will get a chance to connect and apply the information from the theme of the call. We also try to curate the groups so there is great synergy and connection amongst the participants and so no one feels like there isn't anyone in the group in a similar situation in life.

Who are the instructors?

Our groups are led by people who, like you, are from successful families, so they get it...AND importantly, they are all trained coaches as well. Although we do teach some tools and frameworks that go along with the theme for each session, we like to think of ourselves as coaches or facilitators, rather than instructors, - our groups feel much more like a book club than a calculus class.

What's the time commitment?

There are 7 ninety-minute group sessions across 4 months, with 2 hour-long individual coaching sessions, and some between session on your own assignments -  with all of that included, you can plan on investing about 5 hours per month. And just so you know, the work between sessions is typically reading an article or listening to a Ted Talk or podcast that's relevant to the topic, or implementing one of the great tools offered in the course - it's nothing like college homework. Our sessions are typically held on Tuesdays during the evening. We'll share the exact dates of your program when you complete the interest form.

How do you handle confidentiality?

Because of the nature of our work, confidentiality is at the foundation of everything. All participants sign a confidentiality contract and we reinforce the importance again during our first session. There's no mandate for sharing anything you aren't ready to share and we've even had participants in the past who have chosen to share only their first name on our online platform. Because of the experience we all share in common, people really respect one another's privacy.
